Orlando Magic License Plate

Since 1996 the Orlando
Magic and the Florida Sports Foundation have partnered together in
support of Florida’s youth and sports.
Proceeds from the annual sale and renewal of the Orlando Magic
license tag benefit the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation and the Florida
Sports Foundation Major & Regional Grant Program.
Annual
fee for the Magic specialty tag is $25, which is tax deductable
10% from the sale of each tag is donated to the
Orlando Magic Youth Foundation.
Since the debut of the license tag, the program has generated more
than $196,000 for the Foundation.
The Orlando Magic has
been committed to making a positive difference in the lives of
disadvantaged and physically challenged youth in our community through
its players, staff and the Orlando Magic Youth Fund (OMYF), a fund of
the McCormick Foundation. OMYF was founded in 1988 and in 199 4,
became a fund of the McCormick Foundation. With the support of the
Orlando Magic organization, nearly $15 million has been distributed
through the OMYF to non-profit organizations working for the
underprivileged families and children of Central Florida.
80% of the proceeds generated from the sale of the Orlando Magic license tag are designated for the Florida Sports
Foundation Major & Regional Grant Programs.
The grant programs provide support to Florida’s communities
hosting sporting events that generate significant out-of-state impact
in their area.
