Florida Marlins License Plate

Since 1996 the Florida Marlins and the Florida Sports
Foundation have partnered together in support of Florida’s youth and
sports. Proceeds from the
annual sale and renewal of the Florida Marlins license tag benefit the
Florida Marlins Community Foundation and the Florida Sports Foundation
Major & Regional Grant Program.
Annual
fee for the Marlins specialty tag is $25, which is tax deductable
10%
off each tag sale is donated to the Florida Marlins Youth Foundation
Since
the debut of the license tag, the program has generated more than
$91,000 for the Youth Foundation
The foundation for every child's future is a strong mind and body.

Cornerstones for Kids provides the tools for Florida's youth to
develop both their minds and bodies in a positive way. The
Florida Marlins Community Foundation was established in January, 1999
to promote educational, athletic, health, social and community service
programs with a particular focus on South Florida's youth. Since
its inception, the FMCF has given back over $6.5 million to the
community! The money raised is used to support "Cornerstones for
Kids" - building a brighter future through education, the arts and
baseball.
80% of the proceeds generated from the sale of the Florida Marlins license tag are designated for the Florida Sports
Foundation Major & Regional Grant Programs.
The grant programs provide support to Florida’s communities
hosting sporting events that generate significant out-of-state impact
in their area.
