Association
The Florida
Sports Foundation is a proud member of the National Senior Games
Association, a member organization consisting of 50 State Senior
Games and Senior Games programs from throughout the nation.
Florida has been a pioneer in the Senior Games movement
nationally and is home of the oldest Senior Games in the nation.
Every
non-Olympic year, the National Senior Games Association hosts
the National Senior Games. The Florida Senior Games State
Championships serves as a qualifier for the National Senior
Games in Olympic-years. For more information on the National

The 2010
Florida Senior Games State Championships was a qualifier for the
2011 National Senior Games to be held June 16-30, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Over
1,200 Florida athletes qualified to compete in the National
Games.
Athletes who qualified for the 2011 National
Senior Games can now register online to compete in Houston,
Texas at
www.nsga.com.
Additional charges will be incurred for those registering after
February 15, 2011.

Florida Athletes won competing in the 18 sports of the 2009
National Senior Games in the San Francisco Bay area.
More than 10,000 senior athletes from around the U.S. competed during the 15-day biennial event.
